DIED. - At her residence four miles south of Prairie City, Nov. 29 '93, Mrs. Elizabeth Rinehart, in the 81st year of her age. Deceased came from Ohio in 1854, lived one year in Monroe and then moved to the farm on which she lived until her death. She is one of the pioneers of the county, and extensively known. She was the mother of ten children, six of whom are still living. Four of the children were present at the funeral, of th two who were absent, one lives in Kansas and the other in Lyons County, Iowa. She was buried on Dec. 1, in the family graveyard on the home farm. She was a oman of great energy, and one who will be missed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. ~ The Newton Journal, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 1893.
