DIED.- Fred, the 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Reed, died on Sunday night after a severe attack of diptheria. He was buried in the Newton cemetery on Tuesday. A boy of bright and happy disposition, a joy to his parents, his loss is indeed a severe one. Among his many young friends he was a great favorite, and his merry laugh will be greatly missed for a long time. His parents have the deepest sympathy of the community. ~ The Newton Jouranl, Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1893.
