MARSHFIELD, Mo. — Florence A. Storer, 92, of Marshfield, Mo., formerly of Newton, died Saturday, July 14, 2006, in Marshfield.

A funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev. Carrie Lewis, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Newton, officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home, where the family will be present. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted in her name or to First Lutheran Church in Newton.

The daughter of James and Christene (Willey) Jones, she was born Oct. 2, 1913, near Lacona. She attended rural country schools in the Lacona area. She married Harold Livingston. Later, she married Ronald Storer on April 7, 1972, in Newton. She was employed by the Vernon Company and retired July 1, 1983. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Newton. She enjoyed her family and friends.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald Storer; a brother, Lawrence Jones; and a sister, Alpha Livingston.
