Brendon R. Stoulil, 31, of Newton died Friday, May 19, 2006, at Rock Creek Lake in rural Kellogg.

A funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with Glen Oswalt officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted in his name and may be left at the funeral home.

The son of Martin Mease and Lynn Stoulil, he was born May 3, 1975, in Des Moines. He worked for Academy Roofing and was a member of American Rifle Association. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting and doing things outdoors. He also enjoyed cooking. He was a lifelong resident of Newton.

Survivors include a son, Dylann Robert Stoulil of Newton; his mother and step-father, Lynn and Joseph Abfalder of Neenah, Wis.; his father and step-mother, Martin "Marty" and Laura Mease of Kansas City, Mo.; a half-brother, Lew Mease of Woodward; his grandmother, Nadene Stoulil of Newton; grandfather, Ival Mease of Kansas City, Mo.; special friend, Tanya Revell of Newton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Stoulil, and his paternal grandmother, Edith Mease.
