Sander Van Willigan Funeral Held Today
Reasonor, March 16 (special to the Daily News)—Funeral services for Sander Van Willigan, who died Saturday night, were held Tuesday afternoon at pella. Burial was made in the cemetery there.
Mr. Van Willigan had been ill for several weeks. During the winter he was sick with influenza and this was followed by pneumonia. A few weeks ago he held a sale and sold off all his property and he was contemplating returning to Holland for a visit in a short time. He and his family came to America a few years ago and resided three miles north-east of Reasnor. He was regarded as a successful farmer and as good business man. His death causes deep sorrow among his many friends here. He was one of the substantial citizens of this community.
Mr. Van Willigan was about fifty-five years of age. He is survived by his widow and four children.
Transcriber note: Van Weelden not actually mentioned but is a relative.
