The early part of this week the parents of Mabel Decker, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Decker, had a message saying the daughter was dead in Detroit, Mich. The father left Monday and returned with the body this morning. It was taken right to the parents' home in Reasnor.
A sister and brother have come from North Dakota for the funeral.
Mabel was well known in Newton. She was a beautful girl but loved handsome clothes and became a rover.
Only a short time before they heard of her death, she had written that she was well and happy.
