Alice Fischer

COLO, IA. -- Alice Fischer, 82, of Colo died of a heart ailment at Story County Hospital in Nevada Saturday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Schroeder Memorial Chapel in Boone, and burial will be at Linwood Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Fischer was born in Colo, and had lived in Boone for 42 years before moving to Colo in 1988. She was a retired housekeeper for Iowa State University, and a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call after noon today at the chapel.
