EARL J. FLANAGAN

GRINNELL, IA. -- Earl J. Flanagan, 72, of Grinnell, died of a heart attack Friday at St. Francis Manor. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Mr. Flanagan was born in Jasper County. He retired in 1977 from the Maytag Co. in Newton after 28 years there.

Survivors include two brothers, Leo of Grinnell and Owen of Chelsea; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today at Smith Funeral Home.
