Ella Fuller Services Held May 30

Ella Keoppel Fuller, 68, of Baxter died Saturday, May 26, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter.

The Rev. Darrell Bailey, pastor of the church, conducted services. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marshalltown.

Jean Akins was the organist, and vocalists were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Bailey.

Pallbearers were Doug Grabenski, Steve Grabenski, Gary Keoppel, Chuch Fuller, Jerry Tow, and Daryl Breniman.

Honorary bearers were Max Butler, Max Gauch, Lawrence Mills, Glen Van Zante, Earl Klyn, and Bennie Stubbe.

Memorials to the church may be left at Boyd-Davis Funeral Home in Baxter.

Survivors are her husband, George; two sons, Raymond of Baxter and Richard of Nevada; a daughter, Carol Shaffer of Marshalltown; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild and five step-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Raymond Keoppel of Cedar Rapids and Robert Keoppel of Eau Claire, Wis.; and a sister, Marilyn Biller of Turlock, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Mrs. Fuller, a member of the Baxter Congregational United Church of Christ and Amethyst Chapter of the Baxter Order of Eastern Star, had worked at Winpower Manufacturing Co., in Newton from 1955 to 1967 and at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Baxter from 1967 until retiring in 1983.

The daughter of Edmund and Emma Frahm Keopple, she was born March 25, 1922 in St. Anthony. She was educated in Liberty area schools and was a 1940 graduate of Marshalltown High School.

She was married to George Fuller May 25, 1941 in Albany, Mo.
