Huron Lyle Farver

MONROE -- Huron Lyle Farver, 43, a lifelong resident of Monroe, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Monroe United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Jerry Mc Gee, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.

Friends may call after noon today at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy; a step-son, Ron Shepard of Monroe; his mother, Irene Farver of Monroe; a sister, Jo Ann Mc Call of Des Moines; and four brothers, Jack of Winterset, Merlin of Newton, Robert of Des Moines and Roger of Monroe.

Mr. Farver was bulldozer operator of Morris and Co. of Marion.

The son of Arnold and Irene Price Farver, he was born Sept. 12, 1946 in Monroe.

He was married to Peggy Strovers July 11, 1968 in Laramie, Wyo.

MONROE, IA. -- Lyle Farver, 43, of Monroe died of lupus Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Monroe United Methodist Church, with burial in Silent City Cemetery. Mr. Farver, a lifelong Monroe resident, had been a dozer operator of Morris and Co.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; a stepson, Rex Shepard, and his mother, Irene Farver, both of Monroe; a sister, JoAnn McCall of Des Moines; and four brothers, Jack of Winterset, Merlin of Newton, Robert of Des Moines and Roger of Monroe.

Arrangements are being handled by Walters-Coburn Funeral Home.
