GRINNELL -- Loren R. Edgington, 86, of Grinnell, father of Ruth Ann (Mrs. Jerry) Kelly of Newton, died Tuesday, Sept, 18, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grinnell.

Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell and memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Grinnell may be left at the funeral home.

Also surviving are another daughter, three grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
