Robert K. Dickerson

HIGHLANDS, Texas -- Funeral services for Robert Keith Dickerson, 55, of Highlands, Texas, a former resident of Newton, were held Thursday, April 5, in White Chapel in Highland, Texas.

Brother L. Robert Baillo conducted services.

He died recently of a stroke.

Survivors are his wife, Juanita; a son, Robert K Dickerson II of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Debra (Mrs. Richard Reyna, Sandra Huerra and Cindy Dickerson, all of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two step-daughters, Vicki Baillo of Wallisville, Texas, and Delana Hosea of Highlands, Texas; three step-sons, Mike Jay and Laurance Smith, all of Highlands, Texas.

And five sisters, Margaret Anthony of Houston, Texas, Lois Saylor and Kathryn Hewitt, both of Monroe, Carrol Umbarger of Newton and Dianna Dougan of Arlington, Texas; and seven brothers, Charles Dickerson of Hopkinsville, Ky., LeRoy of Altoona, Donald and Richard, both of Newton, Lloyd of Pleasant Hill, Bill Patton Rockford, Ill., and Michael Patton of New Hall, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Everett, and three sisters, Jean Dunn, Lela Patton and Penny Pigett.

The son of Carroll and Ruth Dodd Dickerson, he was born April 29, 1934 in Newton.
