PRAIRIE CITY -- Lottie Decker, 88, a longtime resident of Prairie City, died this morning Dec. 5, at Roswell, N.M.

Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City is handling arrangements which have not been completed.

PRAIRIE CITY -- Funeral services for Lottie Ellen Hawkins Decker, 88, a longtime resident of Prairie City, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City.

The Rev. Harold Leverton of Prairie City will conduct services. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Survivors are a son, H. Ray of Manassas, Va.; two daughters, Ruth (Mrs. Anthony) Marino of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Betty (Mrs. Herman) Hadsall of Roswell, N.M.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Also surviving are two sisters, Minnie Thomas of Scranton and Stella Beals of Des Moines; and a brother, Clarence Hawkins of Tucson, Ariz.

Mrs. Decker was a member of Prairie City Christian Church.

The daughter of James and Ethel Hawkins, she was born Aug. 11, 1902 in Polk County.

She was married to Orie Decker Aug. 23, 1922 in Des Moines.
