Louis L. Constant

INDEPENDENCE -- Louis L. Constant, 58, of Independence, brother of Dale Constant of Newton, and husband of a former Jasper County resident, died Wednesday, April 4, at the People’s Memorial Hospital in Independence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Reiff Funeral Home in Independence. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery in Independence.

Also surviving are his wife, the former Rowena Mae Nagel, a resident of the Baxter area until her marriage in 1988; a son, four daughters; a step-daughter, Kathy Constant of Baxter; two step-sons, including Larry Hudson of Newton; 16 grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
