GRINNELL -- Ruthe L. Wilson Clark, 75, of Grinnell, a former resident of Rock Creek Township in Jasper County, died Saturday, Nov. 3, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
The Rev. Raymond Lott, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery in Jasper County.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
Memorial to the American Cancer Society or the Grinnell United Methodist Church will be accepted.
Survivors are a brother, Wesley Wilson of San Diego, Calif.; a niece, Betty Wilson of Newton; and a grandniece, Karen Showalter of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale, and two brothers, Ray and Glenn Wilson.
She was born Aug. 16, 1915 in Jasper County and attended rural Kellogg schools. After the family moved to Grinnell she was a 1933 graduate of Grinnell Community High School.
She was married to Dale Clark May 15, 1940 in Marshalltown.
The Clarks had resided in Burlington and Dallas, Texas, before moving to Grinnell in 1945 where she was a bookkeeper-secretary for Mc Dowell Insurance Agency and worked for Grinnell Federal Savings and Loan and Miracle Recreation.
