MAXWELL, IA. -- Rollin “Jack” Coughenour, 82, of Maxwell died of a heart attack Thursday in Harlingen, Texas. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Maxwell United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center.

Born in Maxwell, Mr. Coughenour was a lifelong resident of the Nevada area. He was a farmer and a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, Golden; a daughter, Kae Koske of Mount Brooke, Ala.; a son Bill, of Maxwell; a sister, Velda Cagwin if Nevada; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 pm. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell, where a Masonic service will be at 7:30 p.m.
