Jean Irene Wilcox, 68, of rural Newton died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev. Jim Olson, pastor of Zoar Community Church in rural Newton, and the Rev. A.B. Sudbrock, pastor of Newton Baptist Temple, officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted in her name.
