DONNELLSON — Ronald D. Ver Dught, 50, of Donnellson died Monday, April 10, 2006, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison.

There will be no services or visitation. His body was cremated. The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.

The son of Donald L. and Patricia L. (Kuba) Ver Dught, he was born Nov. 27, 1955, in Newton. He attended Keokuk Senior High School and graduated with the Class of 1974. He was employed at Roquette for 20 years before his health forced him to retire in 1999.

Mr. Ver Dught enjoyed art, was an oil painter and also did wood and bone carving. He enjoyed raising house plants.

He is survived by his son, Caleb M. Ver Dught of Keokuk; one daughter, Brittany Lane Pagel of Keokuk; his parents, Donald and Patricia Ver Dught Sr. of Kahoka, Mo.; two sisters: Darcia L. Ver Dught of Farmington and Diana R. Ver Dught of Kahoka, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles and other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Pearl I. Ver Dught and Leona M. Scott, grandfathers, Marian P. Ver Dught and Melvin G. Kuba and several aunts and uncles.
