David E. Bonnett Sr., 62, of Newton died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at his home.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home, where the family will be available. Memorials will be accepted in his name.

The family requests no flowers but that teddy bears be sent which will be donated to underprivileged children following the service.
