Jill Lewis Wright, 42, of No. 3, Larchwood Court, a resident of Newton for 18 years, died Friday evening, Nov. 10, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center of a viral infection.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

The Rev. E. William Kaska, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Jefferson.

Visitation will not be held.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

Survivors are her husband, William; two sons, Steven R. of Des Moines and William S. of Mound, Minn.; a daughter, Teri R. Hansen of Des Moines; three grandchildren; her mother, Louise M. Lewis of Waterloo; and two brothers, John W. Lewis of Bettendorf and Joe Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her father, John W. Lewis.

Mrs. Wright, a beautician who owned and operated Jill’s House of Hair, was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.

The daughter of John W. and Louise M. Leonard Lewis, she was born April 7, 1947 in Jefferson and was graduated from Waterloo West High School and Pitzies Beauty School in Waterloo.

She was married to William B. Wright May 15, 1971 in Waterloo.
