KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Funeral services for Geneva Elizabeth Broyles Williams, 64, of Kansas City, Mo., a resident of Newton until moving to Kansas City in 1967, were held Thursday, Feb. 2, at Green City, Mo. Burial was in Green Castle, Mo.

Kent’s Funeral Home in Green City, Mo., handled arrangements.

She died recently at the Truman Medical Center of a heart ailment.

Survivors are a son, Jim of Beverly, Mo.; two daughters, Charlotte (Mrs. Dan) Shepley of Colfax and Nora Turner of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Gene Broyles of Newton and Kenneth Broyles of Milan, Mo.; and a sister, Mildred Van Gorp of Mission. S. D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

She was the daughter of Novie Leo and Della Faye Vestal Broyles.

She was married to James Edward Williams Feb. 4, 1942 in Missouri. ~ Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa, February 9, 1989
