Metz column

Metz was shocked by hearing the sad news of Mrs. Andrew (Caroline Davidson) Angle's [sic-Engle's] death on last Sturday morning. The funeral was held at the Metz school house on Monday. She was known and highly respected by all who knew here. She has left a family of four small children, the youngest ones being a pair of twins only a week old. ~ The Iowa State Democrat, Newton, Iowa (from original newspaper) Thursday, March 18, 1886.
