John C. Vos
JENISON, Mich. -- John C. Vos, 84, of Jenison, Mich., formerly of Sully, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, in Michigan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Christian Reformed Church in Sully.
Dr. Joseph Brinks, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Sully Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sully Garden Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials to the Giddon Society or Pella Christian Opportunity Center will be accepted.
Survivors are his wife, Catherine; three sons, Clarence of Dearborn, Mich., Kenneth of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Larry of Cutlerville, Mich.; two daughters, Leona (Mrs. Melvin) Pothoven and Anna Mae (Mrs. Joe) Vander Beek, both of Sully; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three step-children, Donald Vanden Brink and Ruth (Mrs. Bob) Mulder, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mel Krul, of Grandville, Mich.; and two brothers, Dick Vos and Cornie Vos, both of Sully.
