MONROE -- Grace Eysink Van Wyk, 93, a longtime resident of the Monroe community, died Sunday, March 5, at the Clearview Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Monroe First Baptist Church.
The Rev. John Adams, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Friends may call at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe after noon Tuesday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8:30 .m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to the Monroe First Baptist Church will be accepted.
Survivors are three sons, Willis of Monroe, Dale of Pueblo Colo., and Dr. Paul of Falcon Hills, Colo.; a daughter, Marie Stover of Monroe; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tenis, a son, Wayne, two grandsons, a great-grandson, her parents, a sister and two brothers.
The daughter of Rhine and Mary Van Genderen Eysink, she was born May 3, 1895 in the Sandridge community near Pella.
She was married to Tenis Van Wyk Dec. 29, 1915 in Pella.
