Mrs. Mollie Watt Former Resident, Died in California
Funeral Services held Tuesday from Colfax Christian Church
Mrs. Mollie Watt, 92, former Colfax resident, died Thursday, Sept. 13th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Emmack at Long Beach, California. Mrs. Watt had made her home with her daughter since going to California 28 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband and besides Mrs. Emmack, she is survived by another daughter Mrs. Elmer Penquite of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, a sister, Mrs. W.C. Stouffer, Des Moines and a brother, Dr. E.I. Whitehead, Ashland, Nebr., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the Colfax Christian Church Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 18th with the pastor, Rev. Frank Bobbitt, officiating.
Music was furnished by Mrs. Earl Plummer, soloist and Marilyn Krebs, organist.Pall bearers were Lloyd DeReus, Lawrence Hammerly, Floyd Whitehead, Loren Penquite, Gerald Stouffer and Richard Stebbings.
Flower Committee – Mrs. Geo. Robinson and Mrs. Florence Luther.
Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery.
