Mrs.C.M.(Maggie Rocella Simons) Sabin of Newton,IA died Monday night in skiff hospital after living in Newton for 47 years. She died 9 January 1956.

Mrs. Sabin was born in Vandalia on 12 October 1875. She was the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Langley Simons. She married Calvin Sabin in Marengo,IA on 10 October,1894.

Services will be Thursday at Toland Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Allan Williams of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Three-Quarter Century Club, and the Rachael Circle of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Mabel Wheeler, Wausau,WI, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Swigart, Salt Lake City, UT, Mrs. Peter (Irene)Zwank, Pella, Mrs. Roy (Alice)Buchanan of Newton, Mrs. G.W. (Emma)Jackson, Newton, five sons, Dr. Everett Sabin, Midvale, UT, Edgar Sabin, Newton, Leslie Sabin, Sidney,NE, Alfred Sabin, Rockford, IL, and Wilbur Sabin, Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Carroll.
