Lola A. Wilson Dies Monday; Rites Thursday.

Colfax -- Mrs. Everette R. (Lola Amanda) Wilson Sr., 77, a resident of Colfax since 1916, died Monday at Clear View Manor at Prairie City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church in Colfax. The Rev. Robert Cook, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery.

Friends may call at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.

Survivors are a son, Everett R. Wilson II of Colfax; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Elda) Faidley Jr. of Prairie City; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. She was preceded in death by her husband April 11, 1960.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Sugar Grove Grange. The daughter of Alex and Leota Broomhall Puzey, she was born June 26, 1896 in Belgrade, Neb. She was married Jan 2, 1918 at Colfax. ~ Newton Daily News, May 1974.
