Elden "Pee Wee" Lundberg, 57, of 923 S. 13th Ave. E. died Tuesday, May 10, at the Skiff Medical Center following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The Rev. David Rex, pastor of the Church of God, will conduct servuces. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions to the Izaak Walton League will be accepted.

Survivors are his wife, Zela; three sons, Al and Paul, both of Newton, and Bob of Lubbock, Kan.; two daughters, Nora (Mrs. Craig) DeRonde of Aurora, Colo., and Pam (Mrs. Jeff) Illingworth of Newton: 11 grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Lundberg of Newton; and his mother, Vera Lundberg of Newton.

He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Carl and Paul Dean in infancy.

Mr. Lundberg, a member of the Izaak Walton League, was a construction lineman for United Telephone Co.

The son of Leonard and Vera Allfree Lundberg, he was born July 31, 1930 in Alcester, S.D., and attended Newton schools.

He was married to Zelda Bishop June 21, 1952 in Omaha, Neb. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton Iowa, May 11, 1988.
