SANTA ROSA, Calif. — David Paul Rowe, 55, of Santa Rosa, Calif., formerly of Newton, died Jan. 21, 2006, at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service was held Jan. 28 at Santa Rosa Mortuary Eggen & Lance Chapel in Santa Rosa, Calif.

Memorials may be directed to Children's Leukemia Fund, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital or the donor's favorite charity.

He was born in Fremont, Neb., and in 1968, graduated from Newton Senior High School. He moved to Santa Rosa in the early '70s and worked for Kmart prior to working for Child Support Services for Sonoma County in California. He enjoyed photography, hiking, movies and music. He volunteered at Bay Area Ridge Trail.
