COLFAX — Norma M. (McKeever) Pierce, 85, of Colfax died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Kavanagh House on 56th in Des Moines.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Colfax. Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Colfax First Baptist Church or Kavanagh House on 56th Hospice.

The daughter of Joseph N. and Minnie (Gibson) McKeever, she was born Oct. 21, 1920, in Colfax. She attended country schools. On Jan. 12, 1941, she married Park F. Pierce in Mercer, Mo. She was a homemaker and worked at Clearview Manor in Prairie City for 15 years. She was a member of the Colfax First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pierce is survived by her children, Ronald P. Pierce of Council Bluffs, Randall D. Pierce and his fiancé, Brenda Weirick, of Colfax and Roxann M. Pierce and her husband Randy Cramer of Omaha, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; two brothers, Fredrick (Ted) McKeever and William McKeever; and a sister, Dorothy Donaldson.
