HIGGINSVILLE, Mo. — Donna Miller, 71, of Higginsville, Mo., formerly of Jasper County, died of Alzheimer's disease Feb. 6, 2006, in Warrensburg.

A funeral service was held Feb. 15 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, Mo., with Dr. David Corder officiating. Burial was at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.

Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.

The daughter of Albert and Berniece Doty, she was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Albia. On March 16, 1968, she married Robert Wayne Miller in Miami, Okla. She was a cake decorator and candy maker.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael Gulling of Butler, Mo., and Jason Miller of Higginsville.; two daughters, Lynnette Cox of Huntsville, Ala., and Kelly Gulling Vescovo of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Maryln) Doty of Mingo and Danny (Maureen) Doty of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marlene Hefley.
