BAXTER -- Deonne Schroyer Lintz, 32, of Baxter died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ in Baxter with the Rev. Rollin Waters officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Baxter. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

The family will greet friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left for her son, Wade Lintz. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or at the church the afternoon of the service.

The daughter of Tom and Becky Dammeier Schroyer, she was born March 5, 1973, in Newton. She graduated from Baxter High School in 1991 and was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ. She was a clerical worker for Principal Company and Maytag. She grew up in Baxter and lived in Des Moines for a time prior to moving back to Baxter in 2003. She enjoyed camping, swimming at the beach, watching deer and mushrooming with her father.

Survivors include a son, Wade Lintz of Des Moines; her parents of Baxter; and her former husband, Lewis Lintz of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Danny Schroyer, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
