Wedding Bells-Last Wednesday evening at half-past eight about 80 guests gathered at the pleasant home of Riley Ashley to witness the marriage of Etta Henney to Frank Cope. At the appointed hour the happy couple took their places under the bridal arch, Miss Mamie Cowgill rendering the Wedding March, and they were united for life by Rev. I. O. Kemble. After congratulations, a bountiful supper was served, such as the Ashley house is noted for. While the good people were yet lingering about the still loaded tables, the strains of music came floating through the air. The band, boys were invited in and served to all the dainties of the wedding feast, after which they delighted the guests with some very good music and songs. At a late hour the guests departed, all expressing themselves as having passed a very pleasant evening and wishing that joy and happiness might be the bride’s and groom’s for years yet to come.
