A Farmers Club has been organized at Sugar Grove School House, in Sherman twonship. The next regular meeting comes off on Friday evening, January 3rd, 1879. One feature of the Club meetings is an exhibit of some agricultural, Horticultural or Dairy products at each regular meeting. The exhibit for January will be corn, five ears of any variety of which will form an entry; and as this will be this will be [sic] the first, it will be free to all comers. Essays and addresses on agricultrual subjects, and the consideration of the question of fences and fencing will make up the programme for the evening.
