Prairie City

Mr. and Mrs. A. Story spent Monday in Colfax.

Mrs. F. Draper is seriously ill at her home in the south part of town with the measles.

An Easter program was given at the Congregational church Sunday morning.

The Neighborhood home club met at the home of Charles Kellogg last Friday evening. An enjoyable time was had by all present.

Rev. Dudley spoke at the Methodist church last Sunday evening. Easter exercises were given at eleven in the forenoon.

Evelyn and Ruth Hays have been sick but are better at this writing.

Mr. Charles of Colfax is working for Andrew Story.

Mr. George Gill is having the house on his farm repaired. The cellar is being walled and a new foundation will be put under the house.

Miss Dunn is on the sick list.

Col. John F. Graham had a horse sale at the Star barn last Thursday.

Miss Ollie Little had a closing out sale of house hold furnishings last Saturday. ~ The Newton Journal (Newton, Iowa), Wednesday, March 30, 1910.
