Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shamberg and two children from Newton visited last week with Mrs. Shamberg's brother, Homer Thompson, and her aunt, Mrs. L. P. Herbold.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker entertained about twenty-five young folks last Wednesday eveing in honor of Mrs. Baker's birthday. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time.

Last Thursday evening Mrs. Bonnie Wyatt-Rider's friends gave her a china shower. She received quite a number of very pretty china dishes.

Quite a few young folks from Metz attended church at Sand Hill Sunday evening.

Mrs. Thompson from Newton was a guest of her sister, Mrs. L. B. Herbold, and her son, Home Thompson, several days last week.

Quite a few of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Beal's relatives sprang a surprise on them last Saturday evening, March 26 by going in and helping them celebrate their twenty-first wedding anniversary. They all took their supper and had a good time.

Mrs. William Bale is very sick with La Grippe.
