Reasnor
Reasnor had quite an exodus of farmers Saturday afternoon when Roy Dearinger, Robert and Samuel Butin and Lloyd Rohrdanze, all left with cars of emigrant goods for new homes in South Dakota.
Mr. and Mrs. Silas Smith celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary Friday, Nov. 11. They are living a happy retired life in Reasnor and in reasonably good health.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. McCullough of Newton, visited over Sunday with the Bean girls.
Elmer Lust and M. J. Carnahan were elected members of the school board to succeed J. E. Waring and R. Lust.
J. E. Sipe has moved to the Bain farm west of town which he has bought for a home. Mrs. D. H. Bain and Ora were able to move though quite poorly. They are improving in health now and their friends hope to see them out soon. They will make their home with Mr. and Mrs. Sipe in the old home. ~ The Newton Journal (Newton, Iowa), Wednesday, March 16, 1910.
