COOK, William B.
Farmer; Sec. 26; P. O. Newton; born in Chenango Co., N. Y., in 1816; moved to this county in 1855; has eighty acres of land, valued at $50 per acre. Married Sarah KIRK in 1848; she was born in Pennsylvania in1825; they have two children-Francis O., born in 1849, and Melvina, born in 1860. Republican-Greenbacker; Mr. and Mrs. COOK are members of the U. B. Church. He has held the office of Township Trustee seven terms and Constable three years.
