PALHAMUS, A.
Farmer and Stock Raiser; S. 3; P. O. Newton; born in Onyario Co., N. Y., April 23, 1829. Married Laura H. HODGES in Illinois in 1857. She was born in Ohio in 1842; mother of three children - Charles E., Albert F. and Harriet Amanda. Mrs. P. died in Malaka, Iowa in 1878. Mr. P. moved to Illinois when he was a child, then to Newton, Jasper Co., Iowa in 1864; was engaged in the grocery business in 1869; moved on to a farm where he now resides. Has improved his farm; has a good orchard and fine improvements; run a threshing machine twenty-five years. Politics, Greenbacker.
