EYCHANER, William R.
Farmer; Sec. 4; P. O. Newton; born in Oneida Co., N. Y., Sept. 7, 1833. Married Henrietta AULLS in Illinois in 1857. She was born in Steuben Co., N. Y., in 1841. They have four children - Andrew S., Amerson Thomas, William Henry, and Ameretta Bell. Has 120 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre. He moved to Illinois when a child 11 years of age; remained fourteen years; thence to Claifornia in 1859, where he followed mining one year and teaming one year and returned, after remaining two years, to New York. He settled in Iowa in Fall of 1866. He improved his farm, set out orchard and grove, etc. Has held the office of Road Supervisor two years and Director two years.
