GEISE, Henry; Farmer
Sec. 20; P. O. Newton; born in Germany, January 1828. Married Louisa WAGONER in Illinois in 1856. She was born in Germany in 1830. They have six children - Etta, Henry, Fred, Adolph, Mena, and Eddie. Has 275 acres of land, valued at $50 per acre. He came to Illinois in 1854; remained two years and thence to Iowa in 1856. He built good buildings, set out his orchard and grove and has good improvements, and one of teh best farms in Malaka Tp. ~ "Malaka Township Biographies," The History of Jasper County, Iowa, (Chicago: Western Historical Company, 1878)
