PFEIFFER, Godfrey
Gristmill. He was born 14 May 1837 in Bavaria, Germany. In 1846 he came to New York City and remained there about seven months, then removed to Butler, Co., OH. In 1860 he came to Keokuk Co., Iowa and in 1874 to Jasper County. In 1877 he commenced his present business. He married Sarah FAIR 15 Oct 1861. She was born in 1839 in Carroll Co., Maryland.
