MERSHON, E. H. Dr.
Farmer and physician, Sec. 6, P.O. Newton; born in Fleming Co., Ky., in 1827; he located in this county in 1855. Married Miss Mary J. RICHARDS in 1852; she was born in Louis Co., Kentucky, in 1829; their children are Alva C., A. W., Syrus S., Anna and Vanimman Mary. Are members of the Disciple Church; Greenbacker in politics. Owns 356 acres of land, valued at $30 per acre.
