SHEPHERD, Daniel; Farmer and stock grower; Secs. 19, 25 and 24; P. O. and residence Prairie City; born in Indiana in 1823 came to Jasper Co. in 1857; has 800 acres, valued at $40 per acre. Married Miss Elizabeth J. ELLETT in 1857; she was born in Indiana in 1839; they have one child-Lizzie, born in 1863. Republican.
