EMMERT, J. V.; Farmer, Sec. 24, P. O. Kellogg; born in Germany; came to this country when 18 months old, and located in Bedford Co., Penn., in 1828; moved to Henry Co., Ill., in 1852, and to this county in 1869. He married D. SCHWABACH in 1859; she was born in Germany; their children are George, Annie, Andy, Ella, Valentine, Carrie, Fanny and Philip. Are members of the Lutheran Church.
