ERVIN, J. P.; Farmer, Sec. 21, P. O. Kellogg; born in Highland Co., Ohio in 1837; located in Montgomery Co., Iowa, in 1865, and in this county in 1873. He married Annie M. MOBERLY in 1866; she was born in Highland Co., Ohio, in 1861; their children are Charlie L., and Carrie M. They are members of the Methodist Church; he is a Republican. Owns 120 acres of land, valued at $40 per acre.
