J. W. LOY married Flora ROSENCRANS on 29 Apr 1862 in Jackson Co. IA. A daughter, Jessica LOY, was born in Dec. 1863. Flora Loy then married Andrew J. YETMAN on 25 Dec 1867 in Jackson Co., IA. Both marriages are listed in the Jackson Co. Marriage roster on the web.

Who was J. W. LOY and what became of him? Was he a civil war casualty, did he die of disease or accident, or was there a divorce?

Flora ROSENCRANS was the daughter of A. S. ROSENCRANS, attorney at law, and Mary Rosencrans of Farmers Creek Twp., Jackson Co., IA in 1860.
