Hello! I am a resident of St. Donatus Parish in Tete Des Morts Township Iowa in Jackson County. I have access to the record from the Catholic Church and have looked up the name of Mathias DeMuth. There is no record of a DeMuth in the death or marriage records. However, there is a record of three DeMuth's in the Baptismal records. You may already have this information but I am sending it on to you anyway.

Mathias Demuth and Maria Sommers baptized Johannes on August 1, 1958.
Wilhelm DeMuth and Anna baptized George Philip on April 21, 1956.
Nicholas Demuth and Clara Dusching baptized Maria on October 14, 1861.

That's all we have on the DeMuth's in our records.
