Shortly after I was born we lived on Mattesson Ave in Maquoketa, Ia. Joining our back yard was a Barrows family. There house would have been on Maple St. I think. The only one I remember is a Son Jack Barrows born about 1922-4. He graduated from Maq. High and I tnink went to the then Maq,\. Jr. College. Last I knew he kived in Iowa City and had for many years. If you think this is the family you are searching, you might try and contact Paul Romer of Maq. who I think was a classmate of Jacks and remained in touch with him at least til the 1970s
