Looking For Ancestors

I am looking for a connection between Rosseau (Rosse) Barrows of Maquoketa (Jackson County) Iowa and Silas Barrows of Athens, Ohio. I know that Rosseau was born in 1838 and died in 1898 and that on a marriage certificate listed Silas Barrows of Athens, Ohio as his father, but I cannot make the link. I believe Rosseau's siblings also lived in Jackson County, but do not know who they are. His children were Alfred, Laura, Alford, Harry. Any information available will be greatly appreciated. I am happy to share any info that I have on the Barrows if anyone is interested. Thanks in advance.
